2023 Gadais 'Tourmaline' Muscadet Sèvre-et-Maine
Not to be confused with sound-alike wines like Moscato or Muscat, this is a crazy-dry, crisp and mineral-driven wine from the maritime region of Muscadet in France's Loire Valley. It's light in body, with subtle notes of citrus pith and green apple and an overtone of savory umami and sea salt that bring a refreshing, cleansing finish. This is the best match out there for oysters!
