2023 Giornata Vermentino

If Vermentino gives you coastal vibes that's because it's originally from Sardinia and the Italian Riviera. So no one could blame you if you were skeptical of one coming out of Pasoo Robles. But whatever they're doing over at Giornata, they're doing it right! Wickedly fresh, this Vermentino mixes new-world fruit with old-world style. Tropical and floral, with aromas and flavors of guava, white peach, lime, and hints of wet stones. A perfect partner with all manner of fresh seafood, it would also do just as well with a plate of prosciutto and pecorino. Buon appetito!
